In an effort to better train our club leaders and advisors, and to further involve more of our student body in clubs, the Prep's ASB is hosting a club leadership training program on Thursday, January 27th (a no school day for students). Club involvement should be a meaningful and purposeful part of all students' high school experience.
A local speaker and leadership trainer, Jill Esplin of Leading for Life, will be on hand to facilitate this training - click here to find out more about the day's agenda and topics covered.
This training will be held Thursday, January 27th from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Prep theater. This training is required for at least one representative of each active club this school year in order for that club to be considered for the 2010-11 school year. The cost will be $15 per person and includes lunch and all training materials (each club will receive a binder of resources and program notes). Clubs can send a maximum of five students to this training; funds from the club’s ASB account can be used to cover the cost. Click here for the registration form for clubs, which gives additional details.
If you are not currently active in a club, but would like to attend this training, limited spots are available for non-club members. Click here to download the permission slip for non-club members - spots are first come, first served.
Questions regarding this club training should be directed to Mrs. Wendy Faust, firstname.lastname@example.org. We hope to see you there!
