The California Cognitive Impairments Association (CCIA) is a new club at the Prep this year, and members have worked hard on fundraisers to raise money for mentally disabled children. On November 7th, they participated in the Buddy Walk that took place at Angel Stadium. It was hosted by the Downs Syndrome Association, and members personally donated to the cause. Also on March 4th, members raised more than $100 by selling boba milk tea. CCIA often sells Krispy Kreme donuts during break for a dollar, so come by and help them raise money! Their goal is to raise money as much as they can and donate it to mentally disabled children’s center. Although it is a new club, CCIA has many dedicated members working hard to help others. Look out for their next fundraiser and support CCIA!
