On Thursday, April 26th, the Fairmont Prep teachers got to experience a taste of Italy during the Teacher Appreciation Luncheon. Teachers were treated to a delicious meal of Italian food, including spicy penne pasta, rotelli pasta in creamy tomato sauce, warm bread, and a salad with artichoke hearts. Dessert proved to be equally diverse. Teachers enjoyed lemon cake, chocolate cake, tiramisu, biscotti’s, and strawberries with freshly whipped cream. This delectable feast allowed teachers to relax and enjoy themselves, despite their hectic schedules. It was a well-deserved break. The luncheon took place in the Prep Theater, which the Parent Association had decorated to create a true Italian ambiance. The luncheon was originally supposed to take place outside in the courtyard, but because of the unpredictable weather, it was moved indoors. Luckily, Mr. Yoon agreed to have the luncheon in his theater.
