ATHLETICS: Football "Blacks Out" Sage Hill

This past weekend was our season opener and as tradition, we played Sage Hill High School. For the past four years we have come up short. However, this year we made history and "blacked out Sage." As a senior and captain of the football team, the Sage Hill game meant a lot to me because it shows we’ve grown as a team, especially after coming off a win-less 2011-12 season.

Offensively, quarterback Bobby V. and running back Jay S. were unstoppable on the ground. Breaking tackle after tackle the two of them combined for over 200 yards. Defensively, Tom C. made a game-winning tackle at the end of the game to seal our 32- 27 victory.

Come out this Saturday, September 8th to Yorba Linda High School as we take on Saint Anthony’s.
