Back to school, but no black pants for school? Starting this school year, Fairmont fashion will undergo a complete makeover! No longer are black shorts or black pants acceptable; everything must be khaki only in the Dickies or Dockers brand. Furthermore, unlike previous years, Fairmont only allows the plaid skirt for girls which must be worn with black tights or leggings at all times. Additionally, student organizations and athletes are no longer allowed to produce hooded sweatshirts. Although these new changes may seem like strict regulations, they have turned Fairmont into a well- dressed and orderly community. The Fairmont student body now displays a sharper look which has greatly improved the atmosphere on campus. Some stylish rules which have not changed include wearing belts, tucking in shirts, and wearing closed-toe shoes at all times. This new and improved Fairmont fashion has been widely accepted and will continue to be implemented for many years to come.
