COMMUNITY SERVICE: CHOC Walk in the Park

Join us on one of the biggest community service projects Fairmont has to offer--
the CHOC Walk in the Park at Disneyland Resort!

Each year, Fairmont enters a team of students who raise money for Children's Hospital of Orange County and this year is no different.  If you are interested in joining 50,000 other participants in the annual CHOC Walk at Disneyland Park on October 14th, you have a chance to be apart of something fun and something big.  As you walk through Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park, you'll be joined by your favorite Disney friends-cheering you on and providing unique photo opportunities.  The 5K walk is a time when families express their thanks to the doctors and nurses that cared for their children, and share their memories with other families.  You will never have such an experience to meet other people who share the same motive as you: to help others.

Fairmont attended last year’s walk and found it to be one of the most interactive service projects of the year. So come on down and join the cause!  If interested, please contact Mrs. Kunkle for more information.  2012 has been great so far, so don’t miss out on this unique experience.

  3. :) I went on this walk and there were literally thousands of people. Everyone was walking and sweating but the smile on their face told me that they were happy because they were helping others. I was happy too because I was cheering for the walkers.
