CLUBS: FPA Youth for Direct Relief

A huge Husky shout out to the FPA Youth For Direct Relief Club! FPA Youth For Direct Relief’s main goal is to fundraise for Direct Relief, a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization that provides medical assistance to people around the world who have been affected by poverty, natural disasters, and civil unrest. Direct Relief has donated over $25 million worth of medical supplies to Liberia and Sierra Leone, to help with the recent Ebola outbreak. They have donated items such as, surgical gowns, gloves, masks, medical disposal bins, and non-contact thermometers. The FPA Youth For Direct Relief Club recently held a community service project at a soup kitchen. They provided Valentines Day themed activities and games for the children at the soup kitchen while they were waiting to be served. The FPA Youth For Direct Relief Club is all about helping others. They will be selling boba tea for $3 on the second day of Around the World Day (3/10). Be sure to support them, and join the club if you are interested. Visit www.fpayfdr.com for more information.
